Fault opening multiple exposure in-camera raw files

The attached jpgs show what happens when I open an in-camera multiple exposure raw pic in Affinity. The jpg opens correctly but when I open the raw file it appears magenta. I've also attached the original raw file. Taken with a Canon RF. I was hoping the problem might have been sorted in 1.9 but it's still happening. It opens correctly in Digital Photo Professional and in ON1.
