deebz
If you use a shape as a text frame and want to edit the colour of that new shape/text frame using the ribbon menu, the fill colour defaults to the text colour NOT the box colour. This, in my view, is a counter intuitive. If you are using a shape tool the contextual ribbon menu should default to the fill and stroke colour of the box/frame first. If you have the text frame tool selected and select the same box/text frame the text colour should then be primarily selected.
walt.farrell
The color of the Text Frame is controlled in the Text Frame panel (View > Studio > Text Frame), along with other attributes.
