markuswaeger Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 If I select two (or more) layers in the layers panel and chose Select • Select from Layer I suppose a selection from all Layers. Just a suggestion from user experience. anon1 1 Markus Wäger | German Autor | Graphic Design, Photoshop and Photography Expert | preparing a german book about Affinity Photo http://www.markuswaeger.com
Staff Callum Posted September 28, 2015 Staff Posted September 28, 2015 Hi Markuswaeger, Holding down the CMD key and then clicking your Layers will allow you to select more than one at a time. Then you can go to Select and choose selection from layer. But it will only take a Selection from the last layer clicked it is not possible to do a selection from more than one layer without merging them. I hope the helps :) C Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
markuswaeger Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 It was just my feedback about user experience. I am working on a german book about Affinity Photo and exploring the program in deep. I think it might be interesting for you to get feedback on my thoughts as a longtime Photoshop user and expert. No criticism. Your app is great. Markus Wäger | German Autor | Graphic Design, Photoshop and Photography Expert | preparing a german book about Affinity Photo http://www.markuswaeger.com
safoster71 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 solution: group the layers, then load the selection from the group :-)
