E9B6 Posted February 10, 2021 Share Posted February 10, 2021 As a long time user of Page Plus (since version 1 !!) and photo plus and draw plus, I have over the years produced a 356 page book, numerous booklets from 4 to 80 pages, countless newsletters, agendas and menu cards and table plans using mail merge. As of 1.9, I have set up booklets in Publisher, menu cards etc using data merge., Apart from a hiccup using facing master pages, I now have a set of programs which not only match the plus series, but far surpass them. The ability to modify designs and photos using the studio link, whilst working on a publisher file are nothing less than brilliant. Plus series - sorry but you are consigned to history. I did not use pdf to transfer the documents to Affinity. I set up the new document, inserted the graphics and text frames, then copied and pasted the text from page plus. They transferred with all the markups, and took far less time that having to modify the pdf input.
