Flatten layers into single pixel layer (Cannot erase object line on transparency)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have read the following post and tried all of what was discussed, but it is not working for me.

Flatten layers into single pixel layer: a simple walk through please?

By christovw66March 18, 2017 in Affinity on Desktop Questions (Mac and Windows)

My issue is that I created my art in Procreate with a transparent background and exported it as a .PNG file.  Then I made up a collage using that image about 20x by rotating it etc. in Affinity Designer.  My intention is to export the Affinity Designer final image as a press/print-ready .PDF file for a copy shop to print for me.  However, no matter how I export it, or what I do with it, it has faint lines across the image that correspond to each of the transparent images I used in it.  I have checked the Procreate file also and it has the transparent background.  The funny thing is that I produced this same image in different colours and some of them show the faint lines and some do not!  I am new to this, so any assistance will be incredibly helpful and appreciated!

Thank you,

Sandy

Actually, I just noticed the PDF is not perfect - part of my image exported with stray areas of color that do not appear in the document before exporting. It's an embedded image and looks fine onscreen.

Welcome to the forum @blackkitt :)

You seem to be having a different issue to the original poster. Please start a new thread explaining your issue and perhaps include the files causing the issues - this will allow others to help you.
