Joachim_L
Some are saying: "Outline view mode" is part of AD not APu. Correct. Some are saying: You can use "Outline view mode" with "Edit in Designer". Correct. But I liked the workflow to switch once to AD (and back) to change to "Outline view mode" and keeping that view in APu. It had some benefits for me and they (Serif) took it away from me. 😢 I had in 1.8x the impression that the wireframe mode was much faster in sense of rendering the content of the pages. Does anyone experienced a significant difference when changing View Quality / Retina Rendering in Preferences >> Performance? walt.farrell
I'm not sure what you're saying, @Joachim_L. Outline view mode still works in Publisher. You can set it in the Designer Persona, and it will remain when you're back in the Publisher Persona. Are you saying that you are switching between the Publisher and Designer applications, and expect the view mode to survive that transition? If so, I will point out that the View Mode is not saved with a .afdesign document, and even if you simply Save, Close, and re-Open the document in Designer you'll be back in Vector view mode, not Outline. And when you transition between the applications via "Edit in" you are closing and opening the file.
