Publisher PDF jumbled text on import

Recommended Posts

I've been importing PDFs and editing them with Publisher and have not come across this.  But one multipage form imports jumbled text - or text that doesn't flow right or land where it is supposed to.  It works fine in Adobe Reader DC, but Affinity Publisher flows the text all wrong.  Is this a known issue? can it be fixed? It means I cannot use publisher to edit these PDFs.

Another weird thing - it seems that Publisher renumbers/relabels sublists.  You can see in these screenshots the original has "a) b) c)" and Publisher opens it as "i) ii) iii)"  - can you please fix this?

Here's a link to the PDF in question:

thanks for your help!

For the text flow issue that you are having please enable the Favour editable text over fidelity, as for the bullet points changing I have raised this with our QA team

In the latest 1.9 beta build turn this option off and the PDF opens correctly
