kentuckyfriedmeerkat
This prompt, when opening a document with artboards in Publisher, is a little intrusive when experienced frequently. I know it's a niche complaint, but it'd be nice to be able to disable it, especially when I find myself using Studio's flexibility pretty liberally within the same document. walt.farrell
I don't think I understand what you're seeing. How does using StudioLink "liberally within the same document" play into this? You should only get that prompt when initially Opening the .afdesign document in Publisher, or when using Edit in Publisher from the full Designer application (which is not part of StudioLink). If you're simply switching between Personas in Publisher (StudioLink) you shouldn't be seeing that prompt. Staff MEB Posted January 20, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 20, 2021 Hi @kentuckyfriedmeerkat, Welcome to Affinity Forums Adding to Walt said, the prompt will not appear anymore in v1.9. There will be a button in the Pages panel to convert the artboards to pages if you desire, but no prompt when opening files. Thanks for your feedback. kentuckyfriedmeerkat and walt.farrell 2 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
kentuckyfriedmeerkat
Walt - just to confirm, this is exactly how I'm experiencing it. I just feel it a little counterintuitive when the presence of Studiolink almost encourages you to open Designer files in Publisher. Happy to hear a more elegant solution is on the way. Many thanks!
