Illustration-Arnold
Hello, I have a weird problem: Sometimes (too often) it happens that I click on a Graphic Text, a false one gets selected that's far under the selected Text. I dont't know why, I don't know how to stop this unwanted behavior. I think it's a bug because I have not found another explanation for that. Still: has anyone an Idea how to avoid that behavior? I hope the Video is shown properly and also helps to understand my problem. IMG_8381.MOV
carl123
Looks familiar, can you upload that document? Illustration-Arnold
Sure, here it is. I deleted some graphics that belong to my customer, but the bug still exists. Just click a little around to get a feeling for this behavior. To be able to continue my work despite the bug I lock the unintentionally addressed text modules until it is their turn, but this slows down my working process. Interestingly, I don't have this error on the second page or in my few other files. Bug.afpub
carl123
Yes, it looks like a similar problem seen previously In brief, if you select a text frame and another text frame gets selected look at that text frame and you will see you have a 0.2pt outer (white) stroke on your text. Removing that stroke stops that text frame from being selected incorrectly and you can now select the text frame you initially wanted to select. Despite most of your text having this, seemingly redundant, 0.2pt outer (white) stroke this problem only seems to occur when attempting to select some text frames but not all of them. Not sure why. The good news is that the bug is already fixed in the 1.9beta which does not show any problems with selecting text frames in your document Gabe 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
