All text are changed image. Please help me.(Affinity Publisher)

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

I use text tools to write these words.

But, suddenly, all text are changed to image.

I've attached my screen shot.

I want to change the image to text originally.

How can I do that?

Thank you for your time.

I have never known the software to convert text to an image by itself without some – possibly inadvertent – user action being involved.
You may, in some cases, be able to scroll back in the History to a point before the text was converted but you will lose all other changes to the document that were made after the conversion happened.
The Affinity applications have no functionality for converting images to text or vectors so it looks like you may have to re-create those text layers.

It sounds like you have inadvertently rasterised your text.

But that would not make it an (Image) layer, as shown in the screenshot.

That would require, I think, either:

  • Importing the text as a rasterized image originally;
    or
  • In the 1.9 beta, a combination of Layer > Rasterize and Layer > Convert to Image Resource.
