Valentín Benavente Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Hi all; i'm back again with a new newbie question. Hope not getting too annoying. Is there any way to make an object 'absorb' the fill, stroke, gradient, shadow, font, whatever, of another object? Thanks! Val Quote
A_B_C Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Yes. There are two methods to achieve this: Copy the source object (Cmd+C), select the target object, and choose either Edit > Paste Style from the main menu or hit Shift+Cmd+V. Alternatively you can create an object style by using [Right Click on the source object > Context Menu] > Create Style, and apply the style to the target object from the Styles Panel afterwards. Please note that neither of these methods currently works with character or paragraph attributes like font family, font size, leading, tracking, etc. Cheers, Alex :) Quote
Valentín Benavente Posted September 13, 2015 Author Posted September 13, 2015 Simple, as usual! Many thanks. Hoping to see it work with character attributes! Val Quote
