Designer: Help files are not being diplayed

Hello,

I'm using Designer 1.8.5.703

on a Window 10 PC

When I click on help from the menu and select “Affinity Designer Help”  or when I just press F1

I see a Designer icon is added to my windows taskbar but no help info is displayed on my screen.

When I right click on the that icon in my taskbar the only option is “x close window”.

I rebooted my PC and tried again with the same results.

I’m not sure when this started, this is the first time I have opened Designer is a number months.

I use Affinity Photo often without any issues.

Any help much appreciated,  suggestions ??

I think that the Affinity Help is displayed using Internet Explorer (IE). Or, perhaps you've done something to disable IE on your system? Or perhaps you need to reset it. This post has some instructions for doing that, to help in resolving a different problem:
