Text Frame attributes not saved in Styles after restart

Hello,

I am using Publisher 1.8.6 on an Imac with macos 10.14.6. I have noticed that not all attributes of a Text Frame are saved in an object Style. After a restart of Publisher a custom Style has lost certain settings that had been saved previously  (Insets - Left, Right, Top and Bottom - as well as the settings of the options Hide Overflow, Ignore Text Wraps and Ignore Baseline Grid). Closing and reopening of a file does not affect a saved custom Style.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

You seem to have mis-posted this in Designer Bugs rather than Publisher Bugs, but when one of the forum moderators is available they will probably move it for you as part of fixing up their bug tracking information. So it's best to leave it here at this point, I think, rather than re-posting in the proper forum.

I don't think that there's any documentation on exactly what text (or text frame) attributes are saved in a Style, and I remember being somewhat surprised initially that any of the text-related attributes (font, font size) were saved in Styles.

Looking back through prior posts I found one unanswered question that may be the same issue you just reported:

It makes sense to me that if any of the text-related attributes are saved in Styles, that all of them should be saved. But we'll have to see what Serif says when they're back from their Holiday break and catch up on reports enough to get to this one. (Or perhaps another user will remember or find a prior problem report or question that already addressed this; I didn't find any with a response from Serif before I stopped looking.)
