Interconnecting Affinity Designer with Affinity Publisher - Is it possible both ways?

I know I can connect to Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo when I'm in Affinity Publisher. But can I also connect to the Publisher the other way, i.e., when I'm already in the Designer?

I have created a cover page for my book in Designer. Is there an interconnection from the Designer to the Publisher as well? I can't see the Publisher icon when I'm in the Designer, so I'm wondering if it's even possible. Anf it it is, how?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Daniel.

The StudioLink feature is only available in Affinity Publisher, but since the three apps share a common file format you can open your *.afdesign file in Publisher and use StudioLink to call up the main persona of Designer from there.

In addition to the advice above, you can also use the “Edit in <other application>” items in the File menu to quickly switch to a different Affinity application (if you have it installed).
