coronan
Hello, A client is asking for the working file of a flyer I created on Affinity Publisher. Which would be the best export option to send them? SVG, EPS or PDF? I'm testing it out and I'm leaning towards SVG because it at least groups the text layers together. Whereas EPS does not group anything together and the layers are scattered everywhere, which I'm afraid will be confusing for the client to use. Wanted to hear others' opinions. Thanks! Joachim_L
I would vote for PDF, even when text is not grouped or layers are scattered. SVG does not support CMYK afaik. SVG could be a problem when you use FX, adjustments, filters etc. But perhaps your flyer is not too complicated. Why not send both versions to your client and let him decide which file format works better? coronan 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
v_kyr
Jip, from those formats named, PDF should be the best choice for exchange here, since the other two formats (SVG, EPS) when generated or imported by Affinity have more format specific limitations. coronan 1 Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
coronan
Thank you @Joachim_L and @v_kyr for your responses! I'll be sending the client a PDF of the flyer 😁 Joachim_L
