jackamus
I just tried to save a file in AD and the following message appeared: File: OpenUnmanaged fopen E001 [effno = 2] I clicked OK. What now? PS I managed to save it as a pdf. Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. jackamus
This has now happened to a second file! Quote If voting made any difference it wouldn't be allowed! jackamus
I cut the objects from the original file and pasted them onto a new page. I then tried to save it to a different folder and it still wouldn't save. I have attached the file as a pdf for an investigation. I don't seem to be able to attache a pdf to this post! Is that right? Staff MEB Posted September 2, 2015 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2015 Hi jackamus, Try to zip the file first. Some formats cannot be uploaded directly to the Forums although i'm not sure PDF is one of them. In any case if you zip it first you shouldn't have trouble. Can you provide me more details about your system setup: your mac config (you can get this info from the menu ▸ About This Mac) and where are you trying to save the file (to which folder)? Does this happens if you try to save to other location? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
jackamus
Hi Meb, That's really strange! I had two pdf files that wouldn't save in AD and I opened them and thought I would re-save in AD format and they did without any problem! I think I will let sleeping dogs lie and carry on as usual.
