nik78 Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 If I try to add a color fill I create to the swatches nothing seems to happen. Quote
Staff MEB Posted November 13, 2020 Staff Posted November 13, 2020 Hi nik78, Can you give us a few more details please? What macOS version are you running? To what type of pallete are you trying to add the colour (a document, application or system palette)? Or are you trying to add the colour to an existing pallete - if so which one? nik78 Posted November 15, 2020 Author Posted November 15, 2020 It's High Sierra 10.13.6. So if I do a selection and make a gradient and then use the contextual menu Add swatches ...from fill, nothing happens to the gradients palette. If I click on the little plus sign next to the palette, the primary color next to the eyedropper gets added, not the gradient I created. Same thing happens if I use a flat color and try to add it to colors palette using the context menu. Same thing happens if I create a new palette. Quote
Jenny Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Hi, I found this topic through Google, because I have the same problem in Designer, Publisher and Photo. I tried all palettes, fill and gradient, using the button and the item in the right-click menu. I am using the latest versions of all three and macOS 11.2 It's driving me crazy right now, I need to get a complex gradient from one object to another. I tried copying it with the eye dropper, but it's only picking up a single color, not the whole gradient. - Jenny Quote
