Zachia Johnson-Moses Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Hello, I would like to know if there was a way I can upload my designs on a stock photo such as canvases and wall art. I pasted an example. https://www.istockphoto.com/photo/blank-poster-frame-on-the-bedroom-wall-gm1001165690-270654056 Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Are you asking whether there is a way you could download that stock photo, and update it so the blank picture frames contain your designs rather than being blank? Zachia Johnson-Moses Posted November 12, 2020 Author Posted November 12, 2020 Hello Walt. Yes exactly. I spoke to customer support at istockphoto and they told me to use software tools like adobe photoshop, but I use affinity. Quote
thomaso Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 It's an easy task with Affinity, too. You first buy / download the desired iStock image, open it in Affinity as background layer and place your design on a layer on top. To limit your design within the white area on the wall photo you can use an Affinity rectangle shape object as mask for your design. In APub for instance with a Picture frame, in AD or APh by nesting the layer. Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
Zachia Johnson-Moses Posted November 12, 2020 Author Posted November 12, 2020 Thanks Thomaso, I will try this out. Quote
