Affinity Photo/Designer how convert photo black and white ? way where grayscale values uses only K from CMYK. based what one priting service they talk colour profiles but based what they tell their page i think i use color profile even black and white products. but using only K ink. I use Windows.

Hi MxHeppa,

If you go to Document > Convert format you can convert your image to grey scale but its impossible to have a greyscale CMYK document I'm afraid. You could also try the Black and White adjustment.

You could either

- (if the precise K values matter for some reason) use the channels panel to create a mask, the result will most likely be rather bright but you can work around this by duplicating

... or apply a gradient mask from 0/0/0/100 to 0/0/0/0 without additional stops
