AntiqueFlaneur
In the attached Publisher file, the text on page 7 overflows onto page eight, which it's linked to. The correct overflow text appears on page eight, but seems stuck in the middle of the page. Hitting backspace doesn't make the text move higher up the page, but only starts to delete the linked text at the end of page 7. Can anyone suggest what's going on here? Thanks! sfriedberg
It's because you have the Vertical Alignment on that Text Frame set to "Center Vertically". Look at the Vertical Alignment subpanel of the Text Frame panel. (View Studio to find it if you don't already have it open.) Select that text frame where the text starts about 1/3 of the way down. Select the icon on the left for "Top Align". Patrick Connor

Or even easier, just look in the Context Toolbar, where the text alignment icons indicate that the text is to be centered vertically Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
