1. Draw a square of 40 x 40 mm.

2. Use the Corner Tool at one edge and drag it to a maximum value. In this case is about (not exact) 40 mm.

3. Revert this action.

4. Now type in 100 mm for the radius (+ Enter).

Result: The radius stays at 100 mm and does not reset to 39,99992 mm. IMO nonsense values should reset to maximum values.

Sorry, I think I have to make a signature for this: It is AD 1.8.5.703, but the same happens in AD 1.9.0.733.

Nice signature. I'm not sure what is different then as I am currently trying to recreate this with 1.8.5.703. This is what it looks like. I get 40 mm instead of the 39.99992 mm that you get.

Did you also enter a value into Radius field? Did you try it with 6 decimal places in Preferences?

Ahhh that was it, I have recreated it now. It was the 6 decimal places. Mine was set to 1.

I have spoken to my colleagues and this is by design. I realise when you input the number manually it may be confusing that it doesn't snap to the maximum but by dragging the corner in you do get the information that shows you what the maximum value is.
