Dennard
The person used a image and highlighted the text on the image. How can I do that?
walt.farrell
Welome to the Serif Affinity forums. Easiest might be to draw an appropriately sized rectangle over the text using the rectangle tool, fill with the color of your choice, and adjust the layer opacity (Layers panel) or color opacity (Color panel) to give the effect you want. thomaso
EDIT: this hint doesn't work when text is an image (sorry, I haven't noticed this condition before) A quick workflow would use the Character Panel and assign Background Colors... ... to the selected text passages... ... and make the color bars flow this way with the text, its font and size and its line breaks and hyphenation.
