walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Where did you purchase Affinity Photo? If you bought it from the Mac App Store then you may be running into a sandbox restriction imposed by Apple, possibly related to the total number of fonts you have installed. Staff Lee D Posted September 26, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 26, 2020 As it's an external/connected device have you tried copying the folder to your local system first and then opening? If you right click the volume/drive > Get Info and expand the Sharing & Permissions is everything set to Read & Write? You can also try creating a new Admin user account in macOS and see if that can access the files. How many fonts do you have installed/active? As it was working fine, has any system settings been changed or updates installed?
