Abby
Whenever I add a layer and start drawing with the paint brush tool it later leaves many dots and lags very much, this also happens with the eraser tool. It is destroying all my art and I am having to work double time to complete art. Any way that I can fix this asap?
Staff Chris B Posted September 9, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 9, 2020 Hi Abby, welcome to the Affinity Forums. What pointer device are you using? I as sume every one of those dots is accidental? Can you record a quick full-screen video of this happening please? ryancerbus
I'm having the same issue, but only with the eraser tool as far as I can tell: If I click and drag, it erases at regular intervals. I'm using my mouse, have tried different flow rates, hardness parameters, etc. Affinity Photo 1.8.4 MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 Hardware specs in 2nd screen cap. ryancerbus
Oh, wait, is it this spacing parameter? It had been set at 100%. (I'd never opened the brush palette, as I don't have any stylus/pen inputs, just using a mouse.)
