RightMouse difficulties with a Stylus on windows

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am using Affinity Designer on Windows and using a Wacom Stylus. I have Preferences > Tool> 'Windows Ink' disabled in order to use the pressure sensitivty.

However, I am facing issues whenever 'RightMouse' is involved, because a Right Mouse using Tablet will result in a contextual pop-up typical of Right-Clicking.

Hence, I am unable to execute a RightMouse command this way. Any workaround for this?

I'm on windows, so RightMouse is just Right-Click by default which opens a pop-up across all softwares. Nothing different configured.

Pressing the RightMouse button using tablet also opens a pop-up in Affinity(Cut, Copy Paste..etc), I'm using Wacom Intuos Pro M by the way(if it matters)

For example, using Node Tool I am unable to 'Click + RightMouse' to smooth node. Only the pop-up keeps appearing

For this shortcut you need to click both the right & left mouse buttons on the node at the same time. This is already logged with our developers as being tricky for tablet users so I'll 'bump' the report now :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
