Healing brush tool no longer functional since update?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Since I updated to the latest version (on Windows) the healing brush in the Photo Persona seems to have a different functionality. The program suggests I hold crtl+alt to set a source, which I do. However, every time I click a source (while holding down ctrl+alt) the cursor switches to a different selection (either rotation, shape/spacing or width/hardness). Unfortunately I can't make screenshots because my pc does not allow this while holding down ctrl+alt. It's no longer possible to select a source as the program suggests, so I'm currently not able to use the healing brush. I'm on the same layer as I was while using the version before this one.

Is anybode experiencing the same or has done so in the past? Any suggestions?

All the best,

Kiddo

Try holding down just the ALT key and then click to set a source

Brilliant, thank you! 🙂

it actually says to hold alt.. reread the screenshot you added. It says click+Alt. Not ctrl.

This isn't new btw. As far as I know it always needed a source point that you could specify by holding alt and clicking. Maybe you're mixing it up with the inpainting brush?
