lenogre Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 Why, often, I can't open in AD an AD file with cmd+O ? I must go to the finder and do "open with > AD" This is the only software that do not recognize his own files !
Staff Gabe Posted July 16, 2020 Staff Posted July 16, 2020 Hi @lenogre, Where are these files stored? Local/cloud/network drive? Can you open them again with CMD + O after you do Open With from Finder?
lenogre Posted July 16, 2020 Author Posted July 16, 2020 Local disk. If I'm looking for a file with the Apple research tool (inside cmd+O), all AD files are greyed.
Staff Gabe Posted July 17, 2020 Staff Posted July 17, 2020 Sounds odd, but have you tried a reboot of your Mac?
Staff Gabe Posted July 17, 2020 Staff Posted July 17, 2020 Can you attach a screen recoding of this in action please?
lenogre Posted July 20, 2020 Author Posted July 20, 2020 Today, I've done a file for example. Before recording my screen, I've noticed that this file wasn't in "Open recent files". So if I want open it with the Apple tool research, it's greyed. I've opened this file and done another backup. Now, the file appeared in "Open recent files" and I can open it with the Apple research tool.
Staff Gabe Posted July 20, 2020 Staff Posted July 20, 2020 We would still need a screen recoding to see what's going on
