WendoverMan Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 I downloaded some brushes, meaning to install them in Affinity Photo. Without thinkng I double-clicked and they appear to have been installed using the default app with was Affinity Publisher. It said it was successful. Questions: have they really been installed in Affinity Publisher and, if so, how do I delete them please? Where are they? Needless to say I feel a bit of a fool! Thanks. Quote
jmwellborn Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Welcome, @WendoverMan! Unless you move to the Photo persona in Publisher (StudioLink) you will not find the brushes. But if you will click on the Photo icon, then the Photo desktop will appear and you can go to your Brushes Panel, and scroll down until you find the name of the Brushes you accidentally imported. Then click on the hamburger menu and choose Delete Category. But before you do that, be sure that you have a copy of the Brushes file you wanted to import into Photo still available. If not, first click on Export Brushes, and then place the file somewhere so that you an find it again. When you open Affinity Photo, you can just go to your Brushes Panel, click on the hamburger menu, and choose Import Brushes, and then locate the Brushes file you wanted in Photo to begin with. Hope this helps. Alfred 1 Quote 24" iMAC Apple M1 chip, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16 GB unified memory, 1 TB SSD storage, Ventura 13.6.7. Photo, Publisher, Designer 1.10.5, and 2.5.5.
