  1. Hi I have downloaded the free Snow Overlays by Paper Farms that came with AP 1.9. The category name shows in the Assets panel but each individual overlay such as hard blizzard cannot be seen in the side panel. The panel is just coloured grey. If I move the pointer around the panel a text description of a particular overlay shows but there is no graphic representation of it as there is with the Rainbow Overlays. How do I get them to show? Should I delete them and re-download? Thanks for any help.
  2. I downloaded some brushes, meaning to install them in Affinity Photo. Without thinkng I double-clicked and they appear to have been installed using the default app with was Affinity Publisher. It said it was successful. Questions: have they really been installed in Affinity Publisher and, if so, how do I delete them please? Where are they? Needless to say I feel a bit of a fool! Thanks.
  3. You’re right RG-R. I have used one of the filters and it appears to be working. I was concerned that without the global authorisation there might be something held back. Thanks for your help.
  4. Thanks MEB for your help but I'm not quite there with the plugin install. In the screenshot attached the "Authorise Global' button is greyed out. How do I fix this? I believe that once I am able to click on "Authorise Global' I then click on "Authorise' both without selecting anything and after restarting Affinity Photo I should be there and able to use the Nik Collection. Thanks in anticipation of your further help.
  5. How do you remove plugins from Affinity Photo please? I have an old version of Nik which I want to clean from my system. It seems to be all over the place. I want to do this so I can install the latest version using the instructions provided by DxO and agreed with Affinity. I don't think the current plugin is complete and working properly. Thank you.
  6. Auto update worked for me for 140 build but perhaps the update window could come in front of welcome window? I nearly missed it! Pleased also that print preview has been fixed and booklet printing works with everything coming out the right way up. Previously in a four page booklet the inside pages were upside down compared with the front and back pages. It's getting there. Thank you!
  7. I've downloaded Beta build 133. The print preview is still blank but can be rectified by going to 'fit type' and selecting 'fit to printable' but that shouldn't be necessary. Also I haven't checked it but is the printing problem of a booklet resolved when with the previous build pages 2 and 3 came out upside down compared with pages 1 and 4? Thank you.
  8. Yes Pauls, I'm getting fail to preview in build 128. Change to 'Fit to Printable' and there is a preview. Going to print a booklet doesn't work in that printed pages are not all the right way up. I understand there isa problem with print 'models' on a Mac. Thanks.
  9. I have designed a birthday card in Affinity Publisher beta for Mac with latest MacOS. It has 4 pages: the front cover page 1, inside pages 2 and 3, back page 4. it is A5 size with the intention to print it on a single pice of A4, double sided of course and fold it. I hope that's clear. I have a HP printer, Envy 5646. I go to print and to start with I don't get a preview. Change to 'Fit to Printable' and preview is shown. Shouldn't have to do that, should I? Then, when I click print, inside pages 2 and 3 are printed upside down compared with the outer pages 1 and 4. What do I need to do to correct this please?
