Tom Schmidt Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 I have now layouted my first (quite simple) brochure with Affinity Publisher and while some things still confuse me, I actually like some things way better than in InDesign. So I suggested to my boss that we move from AdobeCC to Affinity. Only concern: Is there a way to move back? Can I export an .afpub in a InDesign readable format? a) to be able to toss work to an 3rd party and b) to be able to switch back to InDesign if that becomes necessary. Cheers, Tom Quote
MikeW Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Re Moving APub files to ID... The only way I can think of at this time would be an ID plug-in such as PDF2DTP (and there is a second one but I forget the name). This would not be a good work-flow. Quote
fde101 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Export to IDML is something that has been discussed on several threads but I don't think there has been solid confirmation if or when that will be coming. Quote
