gumbo23 Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Is there a way to remove all indents from some text I'm pasting in, using Publisher? I have a lot of messy indents and want to just push all text to the left margin. I haven't yet found software that will do this. All suggestions appreciated. Quote
Old Bruce Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 Use find and replace, search for tabs and replace with nothing. You may need to search for double spaces and replace them with one space. The way I set this up is to search for a return and a tab and then replace with a return. gumbo23 Posted June 4, 2020 Author Posted June 4, 2020 Thanks. I have just tried this but cannot get it to work. I'll have to find a video tutorial. Quote
gumbo23 Posted June 4, 2020 Author Posted June 4, 2020 The tutorial didn't solve the problem. If I create a tab then search for the tab - the tab still is not found. Why might this be? Quote
Old Bruce Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 It may be that there isn't a tab but it is an attribute of the Paragraph Style.
