Customizing (AP) UI

Watching multiple tutorials and overview videos for Affinity Photo, I see that some people are able to customize and rearrange some of the tools in the AP user interface. I was wondering how this can be achieved. The screenshot I included is an example (from the AP release video) of what I would like to achieve. Could someone please show me how this can be done? Thanks

Just go to the menu Window ▹ Separated Mode.
