Vector to png

I am trying to create a digital design from one of my drawings. I autotraced it in Inkscape, cleaned it up in Designer and now have to export it as a png file. The image now looks a bit pixelated. How can I fix this? The end result has to be a png file. Is there an easier way to convert my drawings to png? Please help!

Welcome to Affinity Forums
The PNG should look exactly the same as what you see on canvas when both are seen at 100% zoom (assuming you are not scaling the PNG on export). What's the size of the original document and the size of the exported PNG in pixels? Are you checking/seeing the PNG at 100% zoom/size?

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have now checked PNG at 100% and it looks fine. The original document is 7016 x 4961 px and it has to be exported at 4950 x 3500 px. I also selected 'bicubic' when exporting.

I then upload it to a website for printing. It can then only be viewed as a very small image. See attached. 

It is also supposed to be PNG24. Is that the same as PNG?

If you can establish the required pixel dimensions for printing, then that should be the one you specify. Most printing websites will only show scaled-down images on their viewing pages. 4950 x 3500 would be rather large to show onscreen.

PNG-24 is one flavour of PNG. The other one you will come across is PNG-8. This has only 8-bit colours and is better for greyscale or black-and-white images such as yours. For colour images use png-24 for continuous images (such as photographs) and png-8 for diagrams with relatively few colours. Nevertheless, if they require png-24, then that is what you must supply. On the png export dialogue, you have a dropdown list allowing you to choose.
