UmarHSoaries
How do you create and center guides within a document in Affinity Photo. For that matter, how do you get anything to absolute center of any document. (I'm not asking how you center to an object, I'm talking about the center of the document itself.) Thanks to anyone who can help with this.
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Ensure Snapping is on (magnet icon on Tools bar), and that Snap to Spread is enabled, and Include Spread Mid-points. Drag a vertical Guide until it turns green and snaps into place. Or a horizontal Guide until it turns red and snaps into place. For objects, the object will snap and a green or red smart guide will appear. To center both horizontally and vertically, move it until you get both smart guides. Thanks to anyone who can help with this. For guides just use the Guides Manager (View > Show Guides Manager...) and just hit the little icons. You can then adjust the distance if you want to by highlighting the guide in the list and double clicking and typing in the number. Here it is with the distance instead of %.
