Johnny Chin
Hey everyone, I try to create a layer to do the blemish healing on it and not direct on the original picture, but later want to do frequency separation, so need to have a single image/layer, will merge these 2 layers to be ideal and will merging reduce the output image quality because there might be some processing done to them? Staff Lee D Posted June 16, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 16, 2020 In most workflows frequency separation is used to remove blemishes and other imperfections, usually on portraits. Other workflows I seen actually apply the frequency separation make adjustments and flatten and then do another frequency separation on the flattened image to make further adjustments with different settings.
