Brigitta Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 I am an absolute novice with affinity photo and am taking my first steps with it. What I find irritating is that the colour white in the photos as well as in the menus is not white but yellowish. When I look at the same photo in PSD, the white area is really white. I'm sure this can be adjusted, but unfortunately I haven't found out how. Quote
G13RL Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 Check that the colour profile of the document is correct: it must be "sRGB IEC61966-2.1". To check: "Edit", "Preferences", "Colour". Quote
Brigitta Posted May 14, 2020 Author Posted May 14, 2020 Yes it is correct. It is not only the display of the photos. It is also the same with the colour controls, colour fields etc. Quote
carl123 Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 If on Windows see the FAQ Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
G13RL Posted May 14, 2020 Posted May 14, 2020 In this case, also check the monitor profile which must also be "sRGB IEC61966-2.1". Quote
