Tirami Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 I would love a feature that automatically identifies the edges in a photo and applies a vertical, horizontal, or both, distortion to make the edges straight. Darktable has this feature if you would like to check it out. Alternatively, you could make a feature that allows lines to be drawn on straight edges, then Affinity Photo will automatically straighten the perspective based on those lines, such as the feature in Lightroom. I ask this because for people who like to get things pretty exact, it's quite tedious to use the perspective tool, change the source, and then align it -- it's quite complicated. Thanks for considering this reply! bdz_af, Aftemplate and miru 3 Quote
eadauto Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 I would like something like this too, I miss this from LR bdz_af and miru 2 Quote
bdz_af Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 I like the simple workflows in AP, it really fits my needs. Automatic perspective correction is the one missing feature which currently holds my back from buying the software after my testing period ends. I'll have to stick to Darktable for now - it's automatic perspective tool really has all the needed options (including verious automatic cropping options). It'd be great if AP would implement a similar tool. Quote
