Unable to Merge All Windows in High Sierra

Recommended Posts

I was trying out different tool layouts and changed to Separated Mode.  Now I am unable to merge back.  The option is available under the Window menu (in that it is not greyed out), but it will not work.  I thought maybe I could delete the application and reinstall from App Store where I bought it but the App Store wants to charge me again versus reinstall.  I am currently stuck with floating toolbars of which I am not a fan.  I have tried restarting the app, the machine.  Please help.  :)  Thanks.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

To get out of Separated Mode, just disable the Separated Mode setting. It's a toggle switch.

If you're trying to use Merge Windows, that's for something completely different.

I did something where the right side boxes disappeared. I must have closed them. Now I only see them in 'Separated Mode' view. How do I bring them back?

Hi 😊 Maybe this will help ...
