[affinity newbie]

I'm working with a font that does not have bold text as an option. Is there a workaround so that I can make the text look bolder for certain words?

Select the letters with the text caret and then toss put a stroke onto them.

Applying a stroke should be regarded as a last resort, especially if you’re using a serif font (because the serifs will become disproportionately thick). Much the best solution is to find a similar typeface which includes a bold style.

By the way, it would help other users if you were to edit your original post and change the topic title to something that reflects the nature of the problem we’re discussing.
