Hello,

I am currently working with the Mac version of Publisher.
Besides that I also have Photo and Designer from the Mac Appstore.

Can I have the Publisher version "converted" to a Mac Appstore version or would a new purchase from the store be mandatory.

You would have to purchase it from the Mac App Store.

Note that if you purchased Publisher from the Affinity Store within the last 14 days you can return it for a refund. See https://affinity.store/help/#returns for details.

Short answer if you currently want the three to be from the Mac App Store then yes you will need to buy Publisher again, if you have recently purchased it you could ask for a refund and then buy from the App Store.

I am in the same boat as you. And I have no problems running the three of them. Is there a problem at your end, other than the ability to update from one place? I will change over to all Affinity store versions once the version 2.x come out only because I would prefer Affinity get all of my money from the upgrade and not have to pay Apple a commission.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
