extend objects between artboards

Hi, I'm trying to make something but i don't know how to do it. I can do it duplicating the layer and placing it in the other artboard but i think that there must be another way to do it. 

i want to extend the image one as the shape below, and make it enter in the artboard 2 area, the same with the second and third picture (as the shapes below). I need 3 artboards because i must export them as separated jpeg files.

Hi @ituknus,

Unfortunately you can't have objects spread over 2 artboards at once, as Artboards are 'containers' for layers, each layer must be in the Artboard where you wish it to appear, so if you want the same object shown across all 3 artboards, all 3 artboards will need a copy of this object in the layers panel.

Put your images underneath all of the artboards as in the screenshot below, and then export each artboard. (Alternatively, put the images above all artboards.)
