Just for clarification. I got the email with the three different 90 KEYS to try out the three different applications.  In the process of downloading to test out and play with them. If I want to purchase after testing and trying things out will I need to have three separate purchases if I want all three (Photo, Designer, Publisher).  Just trying to clarify for my budget since there is a 50% offer in effect due to the covid situation.  Publisher is alternative to INDESIGN?? Designer alternative to MSPublisher?  Photo is alternative to Adobe Photoshop.  Not sure about alternative to Adobe PDF at this point.  Newbie you can tell. I have an older verison of Photoshop Elements and Photoshop and have some files in DESIGN. Never used ILLUSTRATOR. Just a little confused....

Affinity Designer is our graphic design program working with vectors. Affinity Photo is our photo editor working with bitmaps. Affinity Publisher is our page layout program. Publisher includes the StudioLink feature which allows you to open the two programs, if you have bought them, from within Affinity Publisher.

The three programs are sold separately.

Publisher = Adobe Indesign     Designer = Adobe Illustrator        Photos = Adobe Photoshop

Affinity has no competitor for Adobe Acrobat.

If you are not doing pro work they are great applications and the price, even at full price, is a great deal for what Affinity has to offer so far.

Vector images are usually in formats .eps, .ai, and .svg. These are graphics designed on the computer, fully editable and scalable without losing resolution. Vector files are used for things like logo creation among other things.
