easynam Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 When I try to resize this compound shape all the way to the left, affinity designer crashes. Also, when I try and copy this shape, the copy comes out blank and isn't usable. Using Affinity Designer 1.8.3.641 on Windows 10 (10.0.18362) YANPtr7AON.mp4 compoundcrash.afdesign Quote
Staff Sean P Posted April 24, 2020 Staff Posted April 24, 2020 Hi easynam, Thanks for the file, I've reproduced the crash and will get it passed on to development. Quote
easynam Posted April 24, 2020 Author Posted April 24, 2020 The copying problem I'm having might be related to using compounds where the shapes inside have constraints - see video. It also breaks symbols that use those compounds HWMehG9SfE.mp4 Quote
Staff Sean P Posted April 28, 2020 Staff Posted April 28, 2020 Thanks for the video - unfortunately I cannot replicate what you're seeing. What are you doing at around 0:34 in the above video, that is generating the rectangle to be offset? As soon as I drag it moves the compounds object - I don't see an additional rectangle appearing in the incorrect place. Quote
easynam Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 ah, I was copying the compound (alt+drag). The same thing happens if you copy and paste it, or try to make it a symbol. Sean P 1 Quote
easynam Posted March 27, 2023 Author Posted March 27, 2023 Compounds with rounded rectangles still result in an instant crash when resized too small in 2.0.4 Quote
