Adicco
Dear Affinity Team, Using EB Garamond with your software, I have encountered a strange issue when writing in italic (see attached image.) How comes the "e" renders this way? Thank you very much, Adicco Edited April 14, 2020 by Adicco
Adicco
(This is the preview on Google Fonts of how the same sentence would render: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/EB+Garamond?preview.text=What+a+strange+e+don't+you+think%3F&preview.text_type=custom And this is of course how it renders on other software.) Thanks!

Adicco
Thanks very much Wosven, I am obviously still a newbie with Affinity.
wonderings
Very bizarre, why would this be on by default? Tried it myself out of curiosity and same results as the OP. Wosven's post fixes it by why would anyone need to hunt around to get the font to display as it does everywhere else?
