Merging sytles?

Hi

Like I wrote before, I have a document with about 120 pages. I copied serveral text from different Publisher documents and got the same problem like in this request: better handling of imported styles when copying and pasting

So I have some duplicates of styles. Is it possible to say: "all text marked with this style (e.g. table-header 1) should have now the following style (e.g. table-header)."? After that I should only have table-header and I could delete all other.

Why not, rename table-header to table-header2 and then rename table-header-1 to table-header and delete table-header2

Disclaimer: I would set up a small test document to try this out before rolling it out on a WIP document.

Sorry for that misunderstanding words

I have the sytles table-header and table-header 1. And I want only one of them.

Half of my marked tabel headers are table-header. The other are table-header 1

Unfortunately there is no way to merge/blend styles, neither is there a way to replace a style which I think should be a good option but you can make a request: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/65-feedback-for-affinity-publisher-on-desktop/

Okay marc.b, hopefully these great observations will make it into a future release and make Affinity Publisher even better.

Yes. That's it. I didn't look at that place. But that's 100% what I'm looking for.
