Affinity Photo crashing

I have just purchased Infinity Photo from Apple App Store to use alongside Affinity Publisher and it crashes constantly.

I am running OS X Catalina 10.15.4 on my 21.5" 2013 iMac.

I have been using photoshop for the last 15 years and decided to change to Affinity Photo because it looked like a perfect partner for Affinity Publisher but it just won't work.

Any ideas? I'm desperate

Hey mj, welcome to the Affinity Forums.

First of all, I'd recommend changing your username from an email address to something else. This can be done from your profile.

Second, I've moved your post as it was unrelated to the OP's issue.

Third, do you have any reproducible steps? I'd need a clue as to what you're doing when it crashes and also, a crash report when you get one.
