Hello, I've just started to use Affinity Photo thru trial period and upon testing out the program, I noticed the hard brush edges isn't that smooth, it is by default settings, though I tried to play around with it but no luck fixing it. I'm not sure if this is a bug or I just have to tweak some settings. Please see image below.

Hard edged brushes are not smooth because they do not apply any anti-aliasing to make their edges appear smooth. If you want smooth edges, reduce the hardness of the brush.

I tried to, but still quite not like the result coming from photoshop.

Not sure with this but as I've seen in this post by a mod (stokerg), his brush are fine, don't know how he achieved that though. I've tried the suggestions in the entire thread but can't get good result.

Thanks for letting me know, the post you have linked to from Stokerg is using Affinity Designer, not Affinity Photo - which uses smooth Vector, not Pixel brushes.

You'll need to adjust the Hardness of your brush to achieve this look in Affinity Photo, my apologies.
