Can I marquie many objects' nodes with Node Tool?

if I have several shapes converted to curves, can I think marquee their nodes using the node tool, enabling manipulation of parts of several objects at once (rather than each by each?)

Yes. Just ensure both / all the objects are selected, then select the nodes you want with the Node Tool using any of the available methods (details shown in the status bar).

Have you tried? If you didn't manage it can you explain what happened, or better yet post a screen capture?
