RedLorrYellowDesing Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Unfortunately all of my Affinity Publisher files are all becoming corrupt, I can fine a common link, is there a limited files that affinity Pub can handle? I love this product but this is making it impossible to use because when i make a document it becomes corrupt a few days or weeks later. Quote
thomaso Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Do you save the .afpubs and images locally - or on a network or cloud? Do they appear as corrupted after their first save and re-open action – or any time later? Could you upload such a corrupted .afpub? RedLorrYellowDesing Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 I currently store the file and associated linked document in a file stored on the cloud, Pcloud to be exact. it becomes corrupt a few days or weeks after creating. I am unable to upload the file as its over 512mb, thank you for your help. Quote
thomaso Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Possibly this cloud or your computers connection/communication with the cloud is involved in the corruption. Can you save an .afpub from within APub locally and re-open it to see if the corruption still occurs? You titled "all files become corrupted" – so you could upload an affected .afpub which is a lot smaller than your 512 MB document, may be a new (nearly empty) document which got saved into that same cloud.
