Robin Rowland Posted March 7, 2020 Share Posted March 7, 2020 For the next upgrade there should be a feature upgrade in the Affinity publisher preflight feature. Specifically turn off the spell check and just see any other potential problems. This would be helpfui if your original text has a great many proper names, location names and technical terms that are not found in the standard dictionary Affinity Publisher uses but have have already been checked by editors and copy editors prior to importing the text into Affinity Publisher. Hello @Robin Rowland, unless I am misunderstanding your request you can do this. In the Preflight panel look for the little menu icon right to the profiles dropdown. There you select 'Edit Profile' and close to the bottom of the list you find 'Spelling'. There you set it to 'Disabled'. d.
